This client is in the highly competitive nail industry, selling to a slightly older demographic – a truly unique range of polishes and colours.

The Problem

As a small Australian business who wanted to grow, but not too much – they’d capped out their organic reach and were looking for new ways to reach those in the Australian market.

The Solution

With such a large range of colours and products, we started creative testing immediately. We needed to know what types of content worked best. Thankfully this client had amazing content creators and photographer – so we had so much to work with. We tested a range of ad types and creative, and quickly found a core product range and content type that was working best.

This actually helped the client to refine their product offering and save costs on content that wasn’t performing as well!

The Results

We’ve been able to achieve slow and steady growth with a 47% increase in sales YOY since we started working with this client. The AOV was lower, with people often opting to buy less on their first purchase to test out the brand so a low cost per purchase of $5-6 was incredibly helpful at maintaining profitability – but having a high repeat customer rate also helped here.

Overall, sales have increased and we are excited to see where this brand goes next!
