I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, and hopefully, you had a nice break like I did, however, it is time to get back into the swing of things.

January is the perfect time to sit down and plan out your marketing strategy for the year!

If you haven’t already, you canĀ  start by answering these questions:

  • What do you want to achieve this year? Be specific – Do you want 5 new clients or 5,000? or maybe you want to increase your sales revenue of existing clients by 25%
  • What actions do you need to take to achieve these? Who will be accountable for these actions? Do you have someone in-house or do you need external assistance?

  • How much money do you have to implement the above actions?
  • How will you track your results so you can continually improve?

When you have a plan you are much more likely to achieve success, especially in the marketing world. As much as we would like marketing to be an exact science, it isn’t. This is why it is so important to make sure that you are constantly pushing the boundaries, trying new things, while making regular appearances in your consumer’s minds.
