Do you know what one of the hardest things to get right is when you’re starting out? Be consistent with your marketing. It’s hard – really, hard.

It’s hard to stick to deadlines, post content consistently, and send out newsletters every week or fortnight without fail. It takes time to set up the procedures, processes, and discipline to get it right, it’s ok to get it wrong. It’s okay to miss a week, we are human after all.

Find the times that work for you, find the systems that make it easier. Perhaps your motivation comes at 9 pm or 3 am, work with what you’ve got, you can always schedule posts to go at another time.

Just remember why you want to be successful in business, and remember that consistency is what is going to make your marketing work well. Posting once, or writing one email is never going to turn your business into a success. However, posting consistently will make you stand out in the crowd and build trust in the transient world that is the online marketplace.
