This was a bit of a unique project for us, but with my personal history of living with Anxiety and Depression I was excited to work with the RFQ team and help them to have a bigger (and more successful) event than ever. We collaborated with the team organising the Recovered Futures Exhibition and the results speak for themselves.

The Problem

After several successful years of running the RFQ Exhibition, they were facing decreased organic reach like most businesses, and they wanted to boost numbers in both attendance and sales for their upcoming event.

The Solution

We developed a three-tiered approach to help with carefully targeted Facebook and Instagram ads.

Firstly to help raise awareness for the event, we focused on building their email list through the power of competitions and some event awareness ads.

Then we crafted a more targeted campaign during the event to drive attendance to the event while it was on and remind people the artwork was also for sale. And we finished off with a sales based campaign to assist with purchases after the event.

We got a bit crafty with audiences to find the right kind of people that would be interested in the event, and close enough to enjoy it and take part.

The Results

The event, due to the combination of all their other marketing efforts, was an overwhelming success, they saw over 13,250 attendees to the event (a jump of over 90%), sales of artwork that supports artists with lived mental health experience as well as funding mental health initiatives saw an increase of 107% to $77,000 – with 54% of all artworks sold, and site traffic was up 115%!

 

All in all this means more funds and more awareness for mental health.
