Goondiwindi Cotton are a fashion retailer based in Goondiwindi, Queensland.  Family owned for over 30 years they specialise in the use of quality natural fibres for collections that balance trends and timeless style effortlessly.

The Problem

Goondiwindi Cotton were ready to grow, they had engaged a CRO agency to help them with their website, and needed to drive traffic and increase sales to the online store. While they had a very successful business in the wholesale space, they wanted to grow their online sales as well – that’s where we came in.

The Solution

While Goondiwindi Cotton saw most of their customers as living rural, we wanted to test this theory and tested running ads to larger metropolitan areas, as well as diversifying age brackets.

We used our testing strategy to test new locations, new demographics as well as different ways of presenting their stunning imagery to their potential customers.

We also focused heavily on building out nurturing ads, so we weren’t always fighting to reach new customers.

As each season came and went, results improved. Through testing, we knew what kind of images were working better, which influenced shoots as we learnt what resonated best with customers.

The Results

We’ve slowly been helping to increase sales month on month, while maintaining incredibly high ROAS (return on ad spend), especially for the fashion space. And just last month they hit their highest month ever at just under $300,000 in online sales for the month.

We average a 9-14x ROAS for Goondiwindi Cotton month on month depending on seasonality, and are so looking forward to seeing what happens in the next 12 months as we continue working with their team and CRO agency.
