The problem
One of our fashion eCommerce brands was running standard dynamic retargeting ads through Meta, showing customers the exact and similar products they had viewed or added to cart. A pretty standard retargeting set up.
While the strategy was working, the creative itself was basic. The ads were functional, but plain, and blended into the feed as they were the same as everyone else's dynamic ads. Performance had plateaued, with the Bottom of Funnel (BOF) campaign sitting at a 5.89x ROAS.
